Finster Fest '16

It was a real treat to play Howard Finster's Paradise Garden for the Finster Fest '16 homecoming Sunday May 29th in Summerville, GA. Having grown up with parents who collected Finster's art and a childhood cat named Finster, playing in the garden felt not unlike coming home and playing to family and friends. Stereotrash artists: The Briars, Muletide Perkins, The Donors, and Tina & The Goose took over the main stage and sweated it out from 1-5pm. It was a fantastic experience to get to play in the middle of Paradise Garden, surrounded by all of Finster's work and watch old and young people alike glow with appreciation of the all encompassing art that was Finster Fest.
